Dragon's Treasure
When: disputed. Video guides say every two to three weeks, Saturday reset to Monday reset. The official-server cadence table lists it as daily. Check your own event tab. See the conflicts register item 8. What it is: a rally event where you and your alliance grind through fifty increasingly hard dragons at a difficulty you choose. Why it matters: large rewards, and the outcome is decided by power and coordination rather than luck or spending.
The short version¶
- Pick the highest difficulty you can fully complete — not the highest you can enter.
- Build one queue with your strongest heroes and beasts. Ignore faction buffs this once.
- Attack dragons directly with that queue. Rally only if direct attacks fail.
- Alternate your two strong queues so one is always in transit.
- Use your other two queues to join teammates' rallies.
- Save "request help" for genuine walls — five per run, consumed only on a kill.
- Claim every stage reward as it unlocks.
Step 1 — Choose your difficulty carefully, because you only get one¶
Difficulties run from Easy up through several tiers of Pure Torture. You cannot pick freely: each tier unlocks only by fully completing the one below it, and you can only play one difficulty per event.
This creates the trap that costs most players their event. Suppose you cleared Pure Torture 2 last time, so Pure Torture 3 is now available. If you cannot actually finish Pure Torture 3, entering it means you clear a handful of dragons, stall, and collect only the stage rewards you reached. Dropping back to Pure Torture 2 — which you can clear — pays you every stage reward on that tier.
The rule: pick the highest difficulty you can complete end to end, not the highest one showing as available. Higher tiers do pay better per stage, but a full clear of a lower tier beats a partial clear of a higher one.
One consequence: progression is slow by design. Even if you somehow beat Pure Torture 3 this event, Pure Torture 4 only opens for you next event. There is no skipping ahead.
Step 2 — Build one maximum-power queue¶
This is the one event where faction discipline does not apply. There is no PvP component and no faction buff on the dragons. Put your single strongest lineup of heroes and beasts into one queue regardless of faction and send it.
Everywhere else in the game, same-faction queues beat stronger mixed ones. Here, raw strength is the only variable that matters.
Step 3 — Attack directly, rally second, call help last¶
There are three ways to engage a dragon, and they are strictly ordered:
Attack directly whenever your marching queue can win alone. This is by far the fastest and it is how you clear most of a difficulty tier.
Rally only once direct attacks start losing. Rallies pull in teammates and hit much harder, but they cost setup time and other people's queues.
Request help only when even a rally cannot break the dragon. You get five assistance requests per run, and one useful detail: a request is only consumed once the dragon is actually defeated. A request that fails to finish the job costs you nothing, so there is no reason to hesitate once you have decided a dragon is a wall. Spend them near the top of your chosen tier rather than on convenience early on.
Step 4 — Keep both strong queues in motion¶
The efficiency trick that separates a good run from an average one: never let your strong queue sit idle.
Dragons spawn near your outpost, so travel is short. The moment your first queue lands its kill, send the second queue at the next dragon immediately — do not wait for the first to march home. With two queues alternating, you are always fighting and never waiting.
Use the small dragon icon on the event screen to search for a new target.
Step 5 — Put your weak queues on teammate rallies¶
Your two weaker queues have a job too: join every alliance rally you can reach. This costs you almost nothing, it speeds your alliance's clears, and — crucially — it feeds the alliance side of the event.
Dragon's Treasure is not purely solo. Your alliance members' performance grants you rewards directly, and when enough alliance members clear the same difficulty, the whole alliance receives bonus rewards — which is a strong reason to agree on a common target tier in chat rather than everyone picking their own. An alliance where everyone joins everyone's rallies scores far more per person than one where everyone grinds alone. Say so in alliance chat before the event starts.
Step 6 — Claim stage rewards as they appear¶
After a certain number of dragons defeated you unlock stage rewards, and the game prompts you to claim them. Claim as you go rather than saving them up; there is no benefit to waiting and a real risk of forgetting.
Stage rewards scale with difficulty tier, which is the entire reason to climb tiers over successive events. A difficulty is "completed" only when every dragon on it is defeated — that completion is what unlocks the next tier for next time.
Common mistakes¶
Entering a tier you cannot finish. The most expensive error in the event, and the easiest to avoid.
Building a faction queue out of habit. Correct everywhere else, wrong here.
Burning help requests early. Five per run. Treat them as emergency-only.
Grinding solo. Half your reward potential comes from the alliance side. Join rallies.
Letting a queue idle between kills. Across a full run this is a large number of dragons you did not fight.
