Conflicts Register
Contradictions between our two sources, held here for review rather than silently resolved.
Source A — YouTube transcripts. 73 videos by the player PX (Pxulxx), retrieved September 14, 2026. One experienced player's account, mostly recorded across Season 1.
Source B — official Discord compilation (fortune-hunter-golden-saga-wiki.md), compiled September 14, 2026 from the official server: all announcement channels, all 38 strategy threads, 4,665 general messages and 1,651 share-your-thoughts messages. Tagged internally as [OFFICIAL] (community manager Kyle or patch notes), [COMMUNITY] (players, mostly the same PX), or [UNCONFIRMED].
Default resolution applied in the guides: where B is tagged [OFFICIAL] and A is a player's on-camera description, the guides follow B and flag the disagreement inline. Where both are player-sourced, the guides present both and mark the item unresolved. Nothing below has been discarded.
Status key: RESOLVED-B — guides now follow source B. OPEN — guides present both, needs in-game verification. INTERNAL — the conflict is inside source B itself.
High impact — these change what a player should do¶
1. Fire Fiend: is it a rally, and how many attacks? — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: "Send your rally and attack him." Implies unlimited attempts during each spawn window.
- B [COMMUNITY, dedicated guide]: Not a rally event. No auto-attack. Appears 4 times daily for 3 hours each, and you get 5 attacks per day in total, not per spawn. Attacks do not injure troops. Described as the most commonly misunderstood rule in the game.
- Why it matters: a player following A wastes attempts early in the day and finds the event closed later.
- Note: both agree the Fiend carries a rotating faction bonus, so check before choosing a queue.
2. World Transfer: must you leave your alliance, or be in one? — OPEN¶
- A: "You are not in an alliance. You have to leave." Listed as a hard requirement alongside queues-at-home and not-being-sovereign.
- B [COMMUNITY]: requirements are "all queues idle, belong to an alliance, not in migration cooldown, not the Sovereign", plus Basecamp above 14.
- These are mutually exclusive. Possible explanations: the rule changed between the A video and the B compilation; or A described leaving the alliance as a practical step (you are joining a new one) rather than a gate.
- Needs: one screenshot of the transfer requirements panel during a live migration window.
3. Aiding Beast: can gold aid gold? — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: "The aiding beast cannot be the same type, but rarity is not a barrier — you can aid one legendary with a different legendary."
- B [COMMUNITY]: "You cannot use a gold beast as the aiding beast for another gold beast." Confirmed by two players from experience, explicitly correcting an earlier wrong answer in chat. Intended setup is a gold beast at 8 stars aided by a purple beast of the same fraction at 8 stars.
- B notes the underlying rule — rarity-based or species-based — was still being debated, with rarity better supported. A's claim matches the answer B says was wrong.
4. Beast levelling: star 7 or star 3? — OPEN¶
- A: "A beast must be star level 7 or higher to be levelled at all."
- B [OFFICIAL, May 28 2026 patch]: "Beasts usable in Adventure, Arena, Earthcore Express and Detection; levelling star requirement reduced to 3 stars."
- Most likely A is simply pre-patch. Treat 3 stars as current and star 7 as the threshold for aiding beast pairing, which both sources agree on.
5. Kills Day shields — OPEN¶
- A: attacking, rallying and reinforcing the altar does not drop your shield, but porting into the central area does. Standard advice: port close, stay outside.
- B [COMMUNITY]: every player receives a free 24-hour shield on Kills Day as standard design. Gathering tiles can still be hit. The Central Shaft can be attacked or scouted without breaking shield.
- If B's blanket shield is correct, A's "stay out of the central area" caution may be obsolete. B also records a live community argument about whether the auto-shield makes the day pointless, which suggests the mechanic is current and contested.
6. Titan Spine Isle entry requirements — OPEN / INTERNAL¶
- A (from in-game mail, relayed on video): at least 50 members; 50 logged in within 3 days; among those, at least 35 with tier 8 troops or higher.
- B: a chat screenshot showing 30 members logged in within 3 days and 15 members with T7 soldiers — while the screenshot's own counters read "1/30" and "0/25", matching neither. A separate player asked about "35 players at level 24" and got a video link instead of an answer. B flags its own numbers as unverified.
- B also states minimum Basecamp 6 to join a season alliance, with alliances free to set higher bars.
- Needs: one clean screenshot of the requirements panel. This is the single most consequential unresolved item, because an alliance that registers without meeting the real bar loses the season.
7. Cross-world teleport cost on Kills Day — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: implies relocation tokens are consumed ("it's only worth during phase two when you can collect PvP fights, relocation token").
- B [COMMUNITY]: "Cross-world teleport does not consume relocation items." Use the Relocate button in the event interface; both sides can teleport; all players are auto-recalled at event end.
8. Dragon's Treasure cadence — OPEN¶
- A: every two to three weeks, Saturday reset to Monday reset, two days.
- B [event cadence table]: listed as Daily, solo plus alliance assist.
- Possibly two different things share the name, or the event moved to a daily format. B's own Dragon's Treasure section describes difficulty tiers unlocking "next time the event runs", which reads more like A's periodic model.
- Both agree on: difficulty tiers, clearing all dragons to unlock the next tier, and 5 alliance assistance requests per run. B adds a useful refinement A lacks: assistance chances are only consumed once the dragon is actually defeated.
Hero data conflicts¶
9. Faction assignments for Corvus and Akali/Akachi — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: lists riders as Scarlet, Oracle, Hermione, Leah, Noel, Quanti, Corvus, Akachi.
- B [published hero roster, community post]: Corvus is a Shooter. Akali is a Shooter. Neither is a Rider.
10. Faction sizes — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: "The warrior fraction currently has eight heroes… The shooter fraction has eight heroes as well… The Rider fraction also includes eight heroes." Three factions of eight.
- B [roster of 24]: Warrior 8, Shooter 10, Rider 6.
- A's symmetry claim does not survive B's roster. Three more heroes were teased in August 2026 and appear in neither list.
11. Quanti's tier — OPEN¶
- A [tier list video]: "Quanti is S tier for sure, no doubt about that."
- B [roster]: Quanti is listed as A — Epic, strength area "World map fights".
- Both agree he is free-to-play and uniquely valuable for PvE. Most likely A is ranking him S by usefulness while B records his actual rarity. The guides now say "A-rarity, played like an S".
12. Hermione: PvP hero or research hero? — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: "Strong PvP abilities, and his passive helps reduce research times." Ranked S tier partly on PvP.
- B [COMMUNITY]: "Hermione is a research hero, not a PvP hero, despite third-party videos suggesting otherwise." This appears to be a direct correction of A.
13. "Noah" vs "Noel" — INTERNAL to B¶
- B's recommended Rider gear priority lists "Noah" at position 5; B's own roster lists Noel as the A-tier Rider and no Noah. B flags this itself. Treated as one hero, Noel.
14. Shards from 0 to 5 stars — OPEN¶
- B carries three figures: a player table totalling 965 (10 unlock, then 10 / 35 / 110 / 300 / 500) with four confirming reactions; PX's explicit guess of "around 800"; and a third player's "1000+".
- 965 is the best supported and is what the guides use, labelled as community-sourced.
Event mechanics conflicts¶
15. Ultimate Alliance Duel length — OPEN¶
- A: "6 days from Monday to Saturday."
- B: "1 week, each day a duel theme. Sunday's highest weekly total wins."
- Both agree Saturday is kills day. The disagreement is whether Sunday is a scoring day or only a settlement day.
16. Lucky Wheel gem economics — OPEN¶
- A: 500 gems per spin; one documented run spent 30,000 gems and still finished ~50 shards short of maxing a hero already at 38 shards.
- B: "save about 4,000 gems for each Lucky Wheel so you can take a copy of each new legendary hero."
- 4,000 gems is 8 spins at A's rate. These describe very different outcomes. Likely B means unlocking a hero (10 shards) rather than starring one up, but the guides should not assume that.
17. Lucky Wheel duration — OPEN¶
- A gives both "the event lasts 2 days" and, in a separate video, "the event lasts only 3 days". B gives cadence (~2 weeks) but not duration. Unresolved in both sources.
18. Hunting Festival sandwich sources — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: daily tasks and the Puzzle Battle.
- B: diamonds, using speedups, defeating wild monsters, gathering resources, the event sub-modes, and shop packs.
- B's list is much broader and changes how you play the event. A is not wrong, just incomplete.
19. Orange gear sources — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: "adventure mode, which offers plenty of boxes containing purple and gold gear, or you can buy it in the shop — there's a gold gear item available there every week, or lucky chests."
- B [COMMUNITY + OFFICIAL]: Arena shop (one per week), Hero Gear Lucky Chests at 0.25% (raised June 25, 2026 — both sources agree on this figure), and paid packs. B does not list adventure mode as an orange source.
20. Exclusive gear upgrade material — OPEN¶
- A: "these little blue stones".
- B [COMMUNITY]: "Energy Prisms are the material used to upgrade Exclusive Gear shards."
- Probably the same item under its proper name, but unconfirmed.
21. Beast badge source — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: "Intuned Soulpurus event" (garbled auto-caption).
- B: Entombed Solpolis. A's caption is clearly a mangling of the same name.
22. The paid summer beast's name — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: "Rock Tricera". B [OFFICIAL announcement]: Armored Tricera.
- The $300 minimum price point comes only from A and is not corroborated by B, which says only that it comes from the Summer shop.
23. Beast breakthrough materials — OPEN¶
- A: fangs, feral energy cores and beast meat, introduced in the summer update.
- B [OFFICIAL, Aug 27 / Sept 3 2026 rework]: Razor Fangs and Resilient Scales were retired and exchanged for generic "Breakthrough Items"; remainders converted to Diamonds. Players reported receiving mostly gold and Feral Cores.
- A appears to describe the state between the two reworks. Current terminology is EXP items plus Breakthrough Items.
24. First beast hatch time — OPEN¶
- A: "around 10 hours". B: "about 14 hours", reduced later by research. Both community-sourced.
25. Orange beast hatch window — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: "a Thursday event where the chance of hatching an orange beast is much higher".
- B [OFFICIAL, Sept 3 2026]: runs Thursday through Friday, widened from Thursday only. A is pre-patch.
Terminology conflicts¶
26. Troop hospital buildings — OPEN¶
- A: seriously injured troops go to the clinic (fast to heal); fallen troops go to the emergency hall (slow, and anything over capacity is permanently lost).
- B [building list]: Med Bay recovers sick residents; Hospital heals severely wounded soldiers. No emergency hall appears in B's building list.
- A's two-tier casualty model is detailed and plausible; B's building list may simply be incomplete. The permanent-loss rule matters and is unconfirmed by B.
27. Resolution Chamber currency — RESOLVED-B¶
- A: "satisfaction points". B: "Satisfaction Coins". Both agree the cap is 2,000,000. B additionally supplies the six resolution names and exact costs, which A lacks entirely.
28. Rally Hall vs Rally Center — RESOLVED-B, flagged¶
- B [OFFICIAL, July 23 2026]: the two buildings' names were swapped, functions unchanged. Any guide written before that date uses the opposite names.
- Our glossary happens to match B's current naming, but every A-sourced video predating July 23, 2026 is at risk on this point.
29. Stamina sources — OPEN¶
- A: "two free stamina loads every day, plus one from Bach."
- B: the Bar replenishes stamina, "refreshes at 00:00 and 12:00 daily, each lasting 12 hours."
- These may describe the same two daily refills from different angles. Bach's third load is A-only.
Strategy disagreements — not errors, just two views¶
30. Build order — OPEN, both retained¶
- "Level everything" (A, and PX in Aug 2026): keep all buildings at roughly the same level as the Outpost.
- "Prioritise" (B, pumok, endorsed by PX in Sept 2026): push Basecamp toward 30 quickly and raise only barracks, resource buildings including food, both rally buildings, beast buildings and research.
- B notes the same author endorsed the second view later, which is weak evidence the prioritise model is the current consensus. Both are in the guides.
Internal to source B — no YouTube counterpart¶
31. R5 inactivity replacement trigger — INTERNAL¶
Kyle said 3 consecutive days in December 2025 and 36 hours in March 2026. The later statement is 36 hours. Which is live is unknown.
32. Customer support hours — INTERNAL¶
The support channel says Monday to Friday, 1:30–10:00 UTC. The player FAQ says every day, 1:30–10:30.
33. Hall of Fame maximum level — INTERNAL, unverified¶
"Level 400 is max" was stated once in reply to a question. No corroboration.
34. Server merge interval — INTERNAL¶
One source gave both "4 or 5 months" and "5 or 6 months" for the first merge.
35. Titan Spine gameplay detail — INTERNAL, provisional¶
B flags that much of its Titan Spine gameplay section is a player extrapolating from equivalent modes in other games. Tower counts (300), camp counts (20) and creature behaviour should be treated as provisional until observed in Fortune Hunter directly. Our source A material on this event came from in-game mail and is arguably firmer.
Items only in one source — not conflicts, but unverified¶
Only in A: the Core Mining "smart dig at 300 metres" threshold; the 10-personal-chests-per-day and 10-claims-per-chest altar rules; the permanent loss of troops over emergency hall capacity; the $300 figure for the Armored Tricera; the claim that all three troop types have identical stats at the same tier.
Only in B: essentially all of Executioner's Fall, Temple Challenges, Goblin Legion, Entombed Solpolis, Shaft Fight, Goldhaven Takeover, Territory Expansion, Champ Clash, Arena, Earthcore Express, Golden Saga, the refund policy, gift code cadence, and the hero level cap of 125. These filled nine of the gaps our first pass flagged as undocumented.
